Pioneering Micromobility
Comodule's journey focused on our commitment to making light electric vehicles safer and smarter with IoT. We have in-house design, engineering, and production teams to ensure that the IoT solutions are tailored to meet the needs of the rapidly evolving industry. Comodule’s connectivity solutions were instrumental during the sharing scooter boom. However, early challenges arose as the Chinese-made e-scooters lacked the durability needed for long-term sustainability. The accumulation of damaged scooters raised concerns about the dark side of green mobility. We recognized the need to provide a sustainable alternative.

As problem solvers, Comodulers launched Äike, the world's first e-scooter built outside of China. Äike is a testament to sustainability, as the production process operates on renewable energy, and 92% of its components are recyclable. Äike's durability and smart features make it the most robust scooter on the market, with a lifespan of over five years. This e-scooter can even survive submersion, showcasing the commitment to longevity and environmental responsibility. Notably, Äike is fully developed and manufactured in-house in Tallinn, Estonia. The transparency in production further aids in reducing the carbon footprint and extending the lifespan of this smart electric scooter.
Tuul is a sister company for both Comodule and Äike. Tuul uses Äike scooters in their fleet and VOK electric cargo bikes (connected by Comodule) to maintain and change batteries of their free floating scooter fleet.

Every customer request follows a predefined handling process, and the IoT modules' unique IDs simplify data access and root cause analysis.
Bureau Veritas Certification has re-certified our Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Employee Safety (ISO 45001), and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) to affirm that we continuously act by the rules.
Continuous quality measures and process improvements, sustainable sourcing, and certifications have established a strong base for being able to control and reduce our carbon footprint. This will help our team in setting bolder environmental principles and objectives, and the transparency and clarity will offer confidence for our partners to work with Comodule.
