Starting this month, Sven Lerche joined Comodule as a Senior Sales Manager. Sven has a strong background in the bicycle and electronics industry, bringing an extensive knowledge base with him. Sven spent two years at Jobrad as a project manager, responsible for implementing e-bike sharing systems. He was a product manager at Alber for six years, responsible for an e-bike drive system and he spent four years at Würth Electronic as a Business Development Manager, responsible for electric vehicle charging systems.

You might think didn’t we already have someone named Sven in our sales team? Yes, Comodule’s Head of Sales is Sven Bernhardt, this brings our total Sven count up to two. While they are both tall, bearded, and enjoy cycling, they are unique in their own ways. We haven’t quite figured out how to call the two Svens, maybe tall Sven and even taller Sven. We’ll figure it out as we go.

Spreading the word of Comodule’s progressive IoT solutions

Sven’s motivation to join the team goes way back: “I’ve met people from Comodule at trade fairs in the past, where I already “smelled” the very progressive spirit of the company. The technology Comodule provides is great and has a very positive impact on mobility. Plus, I enjoy working with such a cool team.”

In his new role, Sven will grow Comodule’s customer base, focusing mostly on e-bike manufacturers. He will introduce the benefits of Comodule’s connectivity solutions to the light electric vehicle industry and makes sure that customer onboarding is smooth for everyone involved.

When the love for bikes turns into a career

Enough about work, what does new Sven enjoy doing in his free time? “I am crazy about biking, so I have transferred my hobby into a career. Over the years I replaced my MTB and road bike with a heavy and bulky cargo bike to transport my two kids. It’s really joyful to have my biggest supporters sitting right in front of me“ says Sven
