Comodule Partners with Brose for Connectivity Solutions

Berlin-Tallinn 16.3.2017. COMODULE and Brose announce partnership to empower the bicycles of tomorrow. Partnership results in standardised integration of COMODULE technology into bicycles powered by Brose.

The Estonian German technology company COMODULE provides connectivity solutions for e-bike manufacturers with Brose e-drive unit from 2017. The integration of COMODULE Eco-System into the Brose drive system would allow new applications for a more intense product experience, long-lasting costumer relationships and efficient product development.

In a common customer project Brose and COMODULE are currently implementing the first e-bike integration that will be initially exposed on Eurobike Show 2017. So from Taipei Cycle Show 2017 on manufacturers equipping their bikes with a Brose drive unit will have a chance to adapt the connectivity eco-system of COMODULE as a state-of-the-art connectivity solution.

By attaching COMODULE technology Brose customers get access to two essential products:

COMODULE analyticsThe online platform visualizes live performance data of the Brose Drive system for the manufacturer. This accelerates product development as the manufacturer knows better about the needs of their customer. Marketing and service communication channel between analytics the user’s smartphone furthermore enables stronger customer relationships and better customer service.

COMODULE operate: This white-labeled smartphone app is made for the bike rider and offers him a whole new interaction to his bike. Adjusting the Brose motor system to his personal preferences, locking the bike or simply navigating with a range visualization are only some examples to point out what new connected bikes with Brose Drive Systems are able to do.
