What's the culture at Comodule all about?

Talking about the culture of Comodule, you hear a lot about the culture of engineering, no wonder as half the team actually are engineers. This means a solution-driven mindset and a can-do attitude are the core of the business -  there is always a way to solve every challenge. The engineering culture mentality carries through to all the positions across the company, not just the actual engineers themselves. Each company also needs out-of-box thinking accountants and marketers, right?

Combining the can-do attitude with the ambition of a fast-growing start-up creates a fast-paced environment, where everything is possible. But don’t worry, we make sure not to take it all too seriously and enjoy the process.

Essential parts of the culture at Comodule are also transparency and honesty, this applies both to our products and communication. For example, a weekly general meeting covers all topics, good or bad, nothing is kept a secret.

What is the work process like? 

Most things in Comodule are done in-house, starting from product design, production, assembly to sales. This enables consistent quality and gives a great overview of how things work at every step of the process. This also means that the communication between different teams is more effective.

What about the management culture?

Each company's culture is heavily influenced by its founders. For example one of the founders, our CEO Kristjan is a strong visionary, who keeps reminding us of the mission of the company and motivates the team with his ambition to take over the world with electric vehicles and vanquish internal combustion engines completely.

What are the people like? 

The team at Comodule has doubled in a year to 110 people, each person bringing their special skills to the table. Comodulers have no problem taking ownership and enjoy having autonomy in their work. We value listening and helping each other out.

The team is multicultural, consisting of employees from 14 nationalities. We make sure there is no discrimination in our team and everyone’s opinions matter. Although the team is rather young (the average age is around 30), we are making big things happen.
